I research ecology in water where humans have put it.
I am improving our understanding of how wild nature and humans coexist and interact in human-dominated aquatic ecosystems.
I prefer to teach by encouraging students to ask smart questions, to observe thoughtfully, and to learn through doing.
We need to enable the relevant contributions latent in everyone to understand and ultimately conserve our environment.
